Lima, Off the Beaten Path

Day 1 | Lima - Transfer In

On arrival to Lima, transfer to your hotel in the Miraflores district and check in.

Day 2 | Modern and Colonial Lima

After breakfast the tour starts in Miraflores district with a visit to the Miraflores Market to learn a little about the diversity of the products in our country. Walk along the Miraflores “Malecon” with an incredible view of the Pacific Ocean and then, transfer to the Barranco district, which is considered to be the city's most romantic and bohemian district, home and working place of many of Peru's leading artists, musicians, designers and photographers. Gourmet buffet lunch included at Puro Peru restaurant, here we will taste the diversity of the Peruvian cuisine. After lunch, colonial Lima tour, we pass by the “Paseo de la República” avenue where we can observe the magnificent Courthouse, the French Palace, continuing with San Martin Square and the Main Square where we have the Cathedral, the Archbishopric, the Government Palace and the Lima City Hall. Finally visit to the Larco Museum, which features the finest gold and silver collection from Ancient Peru and the famous erotic archaeological collection, and is one of the most visited Peruvian tourist attractions. Return to your hotel and night free. Remember that Lima has a very wide range of excellent restaurants, like Astrid & Gaston and Central considered among the 20 best restaurants in the world.

Day 3 | South Lima - Pachacamac Sanctuary

In the morning, tour to Pachacamac Archaeological Complex, then we continue south to taste the famous Sarita’s Chicharron Sandwich, a traditional Peruvian sandwich made with deep fried pork meat and sweet potatoes, topped with salsa criolla (thinly sliced red onions in lemon juice). Visit to the beach towns of San Bartolo and Punta Hermosa (swimming at any of the beaches depending on the weather). Lunch is scheduled at Rocio Restaurant in San Bartolo. After lunch, transfer to Santa Cruz de Flores Valley, a village known for its production of excellent Piscos. We will be explained about how Pisco is made and have Pisco-tasting. Transfer back to Lima at dusk. Dinner at La Huaca Pucllana restaurant.

Day 4 | Lima, Ceviche Experience, Gold Museum and Optional Activities

Free morning to shop or to do some extra activities, we recommend you to take surfing classes, Peruvian Paso Horse riding or paragliding (optional). For lunch, Ceviche (the most popular Peruvian dish) and Seafood Experience. We will visit La Mar Avenue, where some of the best restaurants specialized in seafood are found. Afternoon visit to the Gold Museum. Return to the hotel.

Day 5 | Lima Transfer Out

Transfer to the airport and end of our services.
